Gourmet on the Go & New Rockport Takeout Kitchen

Fresh lobster rolls and clam chowder brought right to you! Our lobster is caught off the coast of Gloucester/Rockport, MA and the Gulf of Maine. Our clam chowder recipe is perfected through family generations. Our new Rockport Kitchen (2 Dock Square Rear)  is open Thursday-Monday, 11am-5pm, with more days/hours to come!

Do you have a company picnic or other special event where you would like us to show up? Our weekends book up fast, so contact us soon ($2,000 minimum).

Party Platters Available

We offer classic and mini lobster roll platters for pickup or delivery. Must order a minimum of 10 classic lobster rolls or a minimum of 20 mini lobster rolls (half portion of classic).

Menu

Lobster Rolls

Three different sizes! Large, Classic or Mini (6, 4 or 2 ounces) of fresh lobster meat in a toasted brioche New England style bun. Served with either mayonnaise or drawn butter. 

New England Clam Chowder

Creamy clam chowder full of clams, potatoes, celery, onion and fresh herbs in an 8 or 16 ounce cup.

Food Truck Menu Additions...

Food truck can also provide burgers and fries. Menu offerings are tailored to each event. 

Lobster Grilled Cheese

Fresh lobster meat inside melted cheddar cheese & buttered Texas toast. 

Grilled Cheese

Warm melted cheddar cheese, thick Texas toast.

About Us

Former television news and sports reporter Jessica Moran started The Lobster Roller in July of 2021. After 15 years in local TV, Jessica was inspired by her husband's career change into lobster fishing. The Lobster Roller is based in Gloucester/Rockport MA and works to provide fresh New England lobster rolls and homemade clam chowder. 

How We Catch Our Lobsters...

Commercial lobster boats haul traps year-round in the waters off of Gloucester, MA and the Gulf of Maine to bring you the freshest product.
